Victorine Challenge #62

Oops!  Looks like I forgot to post my card for the current Victorine Originals Challenge located HERE  The challenge is to use Red, White, and Blue or Monochromatic using one of the three colors.  I used the blue.  I started with Ivory Cardstock, stamped a music background that I distressed a bit over the Ivory with Blue Ink.  Next I stamped the tree image with the children and popped up the punched hearts made with designer paper which I matched on the left side.  A sentiment could be put in the scalloped oval before sending the card.

  1. FAB monochromatic card! Like the silhouette stamp, the music bkgrd and crackled paper. :)

  3. I'm going to be lazy (or economical with my scarce time!!) and leave one comment to cover a couple of your posts. I love this - the music, of course, but the big hearts in the tree are just lovely, and the silhouette image. We had several books with that style of illustration when we were small - I still have a couple of them.
And gosh, your garden looks fascinating. C was looking over my shoulder and wanted to follow up the link you gave. Somebody else on SCS had mentioned it to me last year perhaps, but I never looked it up at the time. Enjoy the fruits (or should that be vegetables) of your garden labour. I saw a tiny little puffball today and thought of you.
